Jim Gottschalk is the owner and hands-on manager of the Mole Hole of Fort Myers. This store is the largest of over 40 franchised Mole Hole gift shops, and arguably one of the top ten fine gift stores in the nation. A native of Indiana but now a very solid citizen of Florida, Jim holds degrees in Business Education and Fine Arts. He taught for many years in New York and Hamburg, Germany. When he gave up teaching to go into retailing, he applied his educational background to very positive effect. From modest beginnings, he now employs a highly trained and loyal staff of around 40. They all share his enthusiasm for the work at Mole Hole.
